Hi
The networkmanager that is installed with the OS (Toshiba Tecra
M3/opeSUSE 10.3).

I've also used wifi-radarhttp://wifi-radar.systemimager.org/ which is available
at
http://software.opensuse.org/search

I have no idea what this "configfree" software is supposed to do,
so I cannot even begin to ponder if there is anything similar
in the Linux world.

A terrible monster of a software designed to overcome the limitations of the XP
Wireless implementation. IMHO there's no need for something like that on
Opensuse at all.
